Team Updates
New THOON Kaimahi

We had a wonderful pōwhiri to welcome our new kaimahi. Let's give a warm virtual hongi to:
👋🏽 Reuben Milner as our new Mana Ake Kaimanaaki
👋🏽 Lovey Mutu as the Clinical Receptionist

Te Pito Hononga Ki Te Ati Awa

Reflecting on Sir Maui Pomare Day
We started with the unveiling of the magnificent carvings at the Ngāti Rahiri offices, a powerful testament to our whakapapa, rich cultural heritage and enduring unity. This event was particularly significant as the iwi noted that there hasn’t been a presence like this from Ngāpuhi in over 50 years.
Following this, we celebrated Sir Maui Pomare Day, a time to honour the legacy of a trailblazing Māori leader and health reformer. It was a day of reflection on current Māori health issues and opportunities, inspired by Sir Maui Pomare's enduring contributions.
