Te Hau Ora o Ngāpuhi is part of the national COVID-19 Healthline response, working with whānau identified as either close or casual contacts to COVID-19 positive cases, as well as providing information about COVID-19.
Based in the main centre of Kaikohe, Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi, also known as THOON, is charged with leading the hauora strategy for Ngāpuhi, serving whānau, hapū and hapori living within Te Whare Tapu Ō Ngāpuhi, from pēpi to kuia and kaumātua, whether Māori or non-Māori.
